Author Biography

SHELLEY DAY SCLATER is a freelance writer in the UK. Her areas of interest include psychosocial aspects of families and relationships, sociolegal studies of families, gender, self and identity, reproduction, the body, autonomy and narrative methodologies.
 
DAVID W. JONES is Principal Lecturer Psychosocial Studies, School of Social Science Media and Culture, University of East London, UK. His previous publications include Myths, Madness and the Family and Understanding Criminal Behaviour: Psychosocial Approaches to Criminality.
 
HEATHER PRICE is Senior Lecturer in Psychosocial Studies at the University of East London, UK. Her current research interests include Childhood Studies, the emotional contexts of learning in the education system, the emotional labor of teaching practitioners, on young children's emotional experiences of learning, and on researching and teaching with psychoanalysis in mind.

CANDIDA YATES is Program Leader and Senior Lecturer in Psychosocial Studies at the University of East London, UK. Her research combines cultural, social and psychoanalytic theory to explore issues of gender, consumption, affect and cultural change. She is author of Masculine Jealousy and Contemporary Cinema.
