Author Biography

Mike McGovern is an assistant sports editor and columnist at the Reading Eagle/Times in Reading, Pennsylvania. He has twice been named one of the top 10 sports columnists in the country by the Associated Press Sports Editors (APSE). He is a three-time winner of the Keystone Award, presented by the Pennsylvania Newspapers Publishers Association, and his work has also been honored by the Society of Professional Journalists (Philadelphia chapter), the Associated Press Managing Editors (APME), and the Golf Writers Association of America. He lives in Shillington, Pennsylvania
