Author Biography

Leslie A. Heaphy is an associate professor of history at Kent State University, Stark Campus, in Canton, Ohio. She is also the author of The Negro Leagues, 1869û1960 (2003) and lives in North Canton. Mel Anthony May lives in Kent, Ohio.
