Summary

The purpose of the 5th International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems (ICEIS'2003) was to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in the advances and business applications of information systems. The conference focused mainly on the following main topics : Information Systems: Databases and Information Systems Integration, Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support Systems, Information Systems Analysis and Specification and Software Agents and Internet Computing. This volume presents selected papers presented at ICEIS'2003. It also includes contributions by some of the invited speakers of the conferences. Audience: This book will be of interest to information technology professionals, especially those working in the fields of Systems integration, databases, decision support systems, agents and internet computing.
