Jeffrey S. Cramer is Curator of Collections, The Thoreau Institute at Walden Woods, and editor of six previous volumes by Henry D. Thoreau. Cramer contributes to The Massachusetts Review, The Literary Review, The Christian Science Monitor, and many other publications. He lives in Maynard, MA.
