Author Biography

Paul Barber is a Registered Nurse (Mental health and Adult), Senior Lecturer and is module leader for the following modules at University of Chester School of Nursing: Key Skills; Principles of Pain Management; Perspectives in Pharmacology: The delivery of care in continuing care contexts. He is also Programme Leader for Post graduate certificate in Infection prevention and control and is a Practice/Education Facilitator for the School.

..Dr Deborah Robertson is Senior Lecturer at University of Chester School of Nursing, and is the Deputy Programme Leader Non Medical Prescribing. Her primary focus is pharmacology education pre and post registration and post graduate. Current research activity includes evaluation of non medical prescribing practice, participation in a North West Numeracy Consortium with the Strategic Health Authority to address issues of drug calculation in nursing. .
