Author Biography

MICHAEL BAUN is Marguerite Langdale Pizer Professor of International Politics at Valdosta State University, USA. He has published widely on the EU and European politics, including several journal articles on EU cohesion policy. He is co-editor with Katja Weber and Michael E. Smith of Governing Europes Neighborhood: Partners or Periphery?

DAN MAREK is Jean Monnet Lecturer in European Politics in the Department of Politics and European Studies, Palack University, Czech Republic. He is the author of several books and numerous articles published in journals such as the Journal of Common Market Studies and Regional and Federal Studies.
