Author Biography

ROGER SCULLY is Professor of Political Science and Director of the Institute of Welsh Politics at Aberystwyth University, UK. His research focuses on political representation in the United Kingdom and the European Union. He is the author of Becoming Europeans? Attitudes, Behaviour and Socialization in the European Parliament (2005), and co-author of Representing Europe’s Citizens? Electoral Institutions and the Failure of Parliamentary Representation (2007).

RICHARD WYN JONES is Director of the Wales Governance Centre at Cardiff University, UK, having previously been Professor of Welsh Politics and Director of the Institute of Welsh Politics at Aberystwyth University. His current research focuses on Welsh politics and comparative nationalism. He is the author of Putting Wales First: the Political Thought of Plaid Cymru (2007) and Security, Strategy and Critical Theory (2009).
