Author Biography

Dr. Udo Diedrichs was research assistant at the Jean Monnet Chair of Political Sciences between 1995 and 2008. Since 2008 he is the academic programme manager at the Department for Political Science of the University of Cologne. Dr. Anne Faber was research assistant at the Jean Monnet Chair of Political Sciences at the University of Cologne between 2005 and 2007. During the winterterm 2010/11 she deputises the Chair of Political Science (The institutional order of the European Union) at the Europe-University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). Funda Tekin, Dipl.-Vw. is research assistant at the Jean Monnet Chair of Political Sciences at the University of Cologne since 2004. Dr. Gaby Umbach is, since 2000, research assistant at the Jean Monnet Chair of Political Sciences and, since 2009, also at the Department for Social Policy of the University of Cologne. In 2010/11 she is Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence.
