Author Biography

Lewis A. Drummond has spent his life working in evangelism and church ministry-both as student and as a practitioner. A close associate of Billy Graham, Drummond has written twenty-one books, including the influential The Awakening That Must Come, Eight Keys to Biblical Revival and The Spiritual Woman, coauthored with his wife, Betty. Dr. Drummond has also taught evangelism at the seminary level for many years and served as president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest before coming to Beeson Divinity School at Samford University, where he currently serves as the Billy Graham Professor of Evangelism and Church Growth. The Drummonds live in Birmingham, Alabama, but travel extensively to minister at crusades and conferences sponsored by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and the Baptist World Alliance.
