Kiara provides her readers with an up close experience of her healing journey to love. A journey that starts with pain, anxiety, and confusion leading to a self-discovery for love to herself and God. Each poem documents an unique experience as she is raw, vulnerable, and passionate in this collection. She portrays the variety of skin, hair, form, style all in one photo all to create new narratives of confidence and beauty in the Black culture.
