Summary

Evolutionary Computing is a rapidly expanding area of computer science and its applications. This book covers a wide range of techniques aimed at explaining the subject to an audience ranging from advanced undergraduates and researchers to practitioners operating in the field. It is designed to cover the material found in a typical university course on the subject found at these levels. Much of the material has until recently been the subject of research papers and has only lately been incorporated into the university curriculum.

* Covers the full range of evolutionary computing theory and its applications
* Designed to be used on a complete course at advanced undergraduate or postgraduate level
* Supported by the author's website, complete with lecture notes and many tutorial and examination questions
