Intro I take no days off, I can't get fired and I won't quit. I live to inspire. This is my passion. This is my dream. Through my poetry, I express the way I see the world, Starting with the things most important to me: You want to live a fast-paced lifestyle 'Cause life never waits on you. And sometimes our friends feel like They have no choice but to hate on you. And we all starving for love We could do good with a plate or two. And you struggle for people to understand you When they don't even relate to you. I bet most of us don't pay attention to how Satan moves His plans to destroy all he can't deceive pick a side, It's not too late to choose. Don't wait to dedicate your life to Christ when you're like eighty-two. You might not even be around at that age but I hope you make it through. Life's a struggle but God has a plan So do you understand where I'm taking you? God the reason why I'm here. He's the reason why we're all here. I love Him! I hope that's visible through my deeds. My Friend It's like the more people you know, the lonelier you feel. And it takes but a few words for you to break down When you felt stronger than the man of steel. I can't front, too, I'd feel so robbed if I didn't ask God to be my shield. All these tribulations are now testimonies of His powers revealed. I thought I had some friends, but they'll pretend, it'll shock you like an eel. And I'm back and forth trying to decipher on which ones are real. Thanks to the genuine ones though, in rough times, the rest of them split like a banana, on any given Sunday, and left me to slip and fall on the peel. But there's one I can count on that seems to be telling all my problems to yield, any type of problem seems to be in His field. When I'm left in the dark and left thinking should I get on the ark or should I take one last bite of this secular meal, sometimes I see the wheels, going faster and I'm just tryna get on board like some chalk. And I know that Jesus walks, despite the crazy talk, but you don't really see sand in New York. I try to mention Him and sometimes I get nervous, but I don't do it on purpose, I'm just trying to find my purpose. And be certain, that I'm prepared when He pulls the curtains. And not be hurting, by being left lurking, on this crazy Earth and decide on if I really deserve Him. Maybe if I keep talking to Him, He'll give me an answer or a sign. But it's hard to keep an empty plate especially when you're in Hell's kitchen and Satan's dancing in your mind. But I won't be left with undefined, Feelings of being blind. I need my sight so I can read His story, for His Mountain of Glory, I will continue to climb. And hopefully through my deeds, Hopefully through my skin others will see His love shine! Tapes on My Mind There are lots of things I ponder in my mind. Some tapes I wish I could delete Some scenes I wish I could fast forward and others rewind. And I know I'm running out of time, So Jesus, please protect my heart and ask GOD to protect my mind. From evil thoughts and hurtful memories that haunt me all the time. All these things that make me feel alive, are really killing me inside. Now I'm asking GOD to save me from my conscience, Protect me from these temptations and deliver me from my pride. When I be looking for the Sun, my burdens be weighing me down to tons, and the moon keeps getting bigger so I could barely keep my head above the tide. And all these people following me, when I'm not even on Twitter and sometimes, me, myself, feel like I have no guide. I ask GOD for His mercy and know I won't always do good but at least I could say I tried....
