Author Biography

Ann Ingalls is from Cleveland, Ohio, and has worked as a teacher, in factories manufacturing cars, selling shoes and greeting cards, and making doughnuts and ice cream before taking up writing. When she's not writing, she likes to read, play cards, go for long walks, ride her bike, and travel. She now lives in Kansas City, Missouri, and has three lovely children with her husband, Winston. Migy Blanco was born in Salford, England. He went to university in London, and then spent ten years working in advertising and editorial illustration. After moving to Buenos Aires, he was surrounded by the vibrancy and color of South America, and he developed a bold, magical, and eye-catching art style.
