Author Biography

Mary Low is an independent scholar, a writer, and a postdoctoral research fellow in the department of Celtic and Scottish studies at Edinburgh University. Polly Pullar has worked as a wildlife guide, a wildlife rehabilitator, a sheep farmer, and a field naturalist. She is the author of Dancing with Ospreys and Rural Portraits.
