Summary

Top reasons why every Internist and Pain Management specialist should own a copy of "Fibromyalgia": Physicians need expert advice on how to properly diagnose fibromyalgia, a challenging syndrome that is commonly misdiagnosed Comprehensive, critical content-one of the first books to publish post-FDA approval of the latest drugs available keeps physicians and researchers up to date in the field In-depth treatment options are provided-traditional vs. emerging; pharmaceutical vs. non-pharmaceutical; enable clinicians to target the underlying fibromyalgia syndrome, rather than engage in quick solutions for individual symptoms Physicians must know when to refer a patient to a specialist to avoid future complications and ensure patients are receiving proper treatment
