She is also faculty research fellow of the National Bureau of Economic Research Timothy J. Bartik is senior economist at the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research Kristin F. Butcher is on leave from the Department of Economics at Boston College and is program officer at the MacArthur Foundation Janet Currie is professor of economics at the University of California, Los Angeles.
