Author Biography

Terry Manley's first book, Prayer Made Simple, was written shortly after God graciously "moved a mountain" during a health crisis in a loved one's life. When circumstances drove Terry powerfully and prayerfully into the presence of God, the experience changed her life and the lives of her family forever. Prayer Made Simple tells the story of this spiritual awakening and encourages readers to open up their own dialogue with God by "wrapping their prayer around His Word."
As her love for Christ grows, it compels Terry to continue sharing with others the hope and freedom she finds in her walk with Jesus. In this second book, The Fire On The Inside Changes Everything she seeks to help readers discover the purpose God has for each one of His children, and to acknowledge and celebrate the Holy Spirit's vital and exciting role in this process.
Terry and her husband, Steve, live in Naples, Florida and are members of Covenant Church of Naples. Together they are part of a lay shepherding ministry where they use their God-given gifts to encourage and support fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Terry is also part of Covenant's prayer ministry and short-term missions team, and ministers locally to incarcerated women who desire to grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
