Author Biography

Tao T. Le, M.D. is assistant clinical professorof pediatrics in the division of allergy and Immunology at theUniversity of Louisville.

Vikas Bhushan, M.D.is a practicingdiagnostic radiologist.

Deepak Rao is currently a fifth-year MD-PhD student at the Yale University School of Medicine, and this is his third year on the First Aid team. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Deepak developed an interest in basic science research as an undergraduate at Harvard University, where he received an AB degree in 2001. He participated in a one-year pre-IRTA training fellowship at the NIH studying muscular dystrophy before enrolling in the Medical Scientist Training Program at Yale. He has worked as a private tutor for several years and has also participated on the education and curriciculum committee at Yale. Deepak is currently working towards a PhD in Immunology studying immune responses generated against the vasculature of solid organ transplants. He looks forward to returning to medical school after completing his PhD.
