Author Biography

Dee Write, the author and creator of the Little Ruth Children's Book Collection, was inspired by her own upbringing, as well as the experiences of her children, in creating the Little Ruth series. The collection includes books such as First Day of School and Backpack Mishap. Dee has enjoyed creating stories ever since she was a child. Her first published work, titled, If I Were a Crayon, was printed in her school's journal in St. Louis, MO when she was just a young girl, and her zeal for creative writing never waned. As a mom, entrepreneur, and author, Dee currently resides near Washington, D.C., where she enjoys spending time with her family and writing about Little Ruth's new adventures.
