It is about their adventures, or their misadventures on these little vessels. They experienced everything from glassy smooth seas to a raging typhoon. They experienced boring hours crossing the vast Pacific Ocean while they towed a 100-ton crane to Da Nang, and they visited exotic foreign ports of call. They towed targets for other ships to shoot at, and they chased gunrunners off the coast of Vietnam. However, with all these trials and tribulations, they performed the work necessary to keep the tug in service, and the ship performed its necessary job.
