Dr. Danny R. Arnold is the Dean and Professor of Marketing in the Nelson Rusche College of Business Administration at Stephen F. Austin State University. He left the dean’s position at Missouri State University to arrive at SFASU in August 2010. He was previously at Frostburg State University, where the major challenge involved obtaining initial accreditation from AACSB International. This goal was achieved in 2005. He spent the previous nine years as Dean at New Mexico State University and took the College on a successful journey to reaffirmation of accreditation. Before that, he spent fifteen years at Mississippi State University, serving the last five years as Associate Dean. He has spent a total of twenty-two years dealing with AACSB accreditation issues. He has published a number of books and textbooks, including 106 Leadership Tips, multiple editions of Business Strategy and Policy and of Strategy and Business Policy: Cases, Policy Expert, Effective Communication Skills, and Strategic Retail Management. He has also published over 200 articles, papers, and books. His articles have been published in journals such as the Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship, The CPA Journal, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Media Planning, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Health Care Marketing, Journal of Commercial Bank Lending, Journal of Services Marketing, Personnel Administrator, Journal of Consumer Marketing, and the Journal of Professional Services Marketing. He has a new book entitled 147 Publishing Tips for Professors.
He has also garnered a number of awards for his efforts and accomplishments. The awards were for teaching, research, and
service activities. Dr. Arnold has been quite active in delivering contract research, consulting, and seminars.
Dr. Ahmad Tootoonchi has a PhD in Leadership and Human Behavior. He joined Frostburg State University in 1989 and is
now a Professor and Dean of the College of Business. He received the Outstanding Faculty Award for Teaching from College of Business in 1997 and from Frostburg State University in 1998 and 2003. He has published numerous papers in various refereed publications and made several presentations at national and international conferences. He has also conducted numerous workshops/seminars for business, not-for-profit, and government organizations. He has been an active member in professional organizations, and received several Awards as Track Chair, Program Chair and Organizer of national and international conferences for Academy of Business Administration, Atlantic Marketing Association, and International Academy of Business Disciplines (IABD). He is particularly proud of his years of active involvement in IABD as Program Chair during 2003–2005, and now as President of this globally recognized institution (www.iabd.org).
