Author Biography


Sanford C. Goldberg, Northwestern University

Sanford C. Goldberg is Chester D. Tripp Professor in the Humanities and Professor of Philosophy at Northwestern University. He is currently a Professorial Fellow in the Arché Research Center and the Philosophy Department at the University of St. Andrews. He works primarily in the areas of
epistemology, philosophy of language, and philosophy of mind. He was Professorial Fellow at the University of Edinburgh (2013-16), and previously taught at the University of Kentucky (1999-2007) and Grinnell College (1995-1999). He received his PhD from Columbia University in 1995 and his BA from
Rutgers College of Rutgers University in 1989.
