Author Biography

Danisha Keating has worked in higher education for 7 years and Danisha Keating graduated from Grand Canyon University with a PhD in Psychology, devotes her time to helping other students through their educational goals, and advocating for Foster Youth.
Her dissertation is on Best Practice of Foster Youth Support Programs at Community Colleges in California, and a large portion of her study shows that foster youth students face homelessness, drug addiction, financial, emotional and academic hardships throughout college, and reflect the reality foster youth face.
