Author Biography

Blaine Rada's travels and adventures started early. Between kindergarten and high school, he lived in eight places, attended eight different schools, and spent three years at a "free school," which encouraged independent learning, where Blaine focused on art, math, and playing in the mud.Smart enough to be a member of Mensa, Blaine still will do things that don't make any sense, like the time he chained his bike to a concrete post, not realizing it could simply be lifted off because the post was only four feet tall.Blaine was named "America's Greatest Thinker" in 2005 by winning The Great American Think-Off, a national philosophy competition. He won the event arguing that cooperation benefits society more than competition. Kind of ironic. Even then, he knew it would involve professional speaking.
