Brown is Assistant Professor of Higher Education Administration at George Washington University Nyla Carney is Associate Dean for the School of Arts and Sciences and Professor of Language and Literature at Marymount University Sharon Johnson Confessore is Associate Professor of Human Resource Development and Director of the Executive Leadership Program at George Washington University Sharon Ahern Fechter formerly Associate Dean for Liberal Studies, Continuing Studies, and Performing Arts, is Professor of Spanish and English as a Second Language at Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC. She also serves as the Director of Inter-Institutional Collaboration for Project 2001, a Mellonfunded project at Middlebury College James J. Fletcher holds a PhD in philosophy from Indiana University Mary Hatwood Futrell is Associate Professor of educational policy studies and Director of the GSEHD Center for Curriculum, Standards, and Technology Sharon L.
