Summary

The first book to look at the functional use of genomic technologies in aquaculture production, Functional Genomics in Aquaculture provides an important overview of this rapidly evolving field. It explores specific applications related to traits such as reproduction, behavior, stress, and metabolism, including how to solve production limitation caused by reproductive inefficiency and disease. The use of genomic tools in key species ranging from shellfish to cod is also covered. An excellent guide for researchers and professionals wishing to understand current and future trends in the field.
