Synchronously, military Strangeloves loose a satellite-engendered quantum Time experiment in the Southwest desert. Like Hamlet's ghost, dreamers and dead alike are quickened to warn the Sixties pilgrims of the brave new America being brewed in the cauldron of the Enterprise.
