Author Biography

Rick Rush, a graduate of the University of Alabama, lives in Tuscaloosa. His passion has long been Crimson Tide football. His major paintings, which effectively bridge realism and impressionism, has portrayed many of the celebrated sports figures and sports events around the world - from college and professional football to major league baseball, NASCAR, the PGA, and Wimbledon.
Caleb Pirtle III, who served for a decade as travel editor of Southern Living Magazine in Birmingham, Alabama, has authored fifty-two books. His latest was the best-selling "No Experience Required: Jackie Sherrill and the 12th Man Kickoff Team at Texas A&M." He has written the screenplays for motion pictures and teleplays for made-for-TV movies on CBS and TNT.
