Summary

English summary: Risks are cyclical. Whether it be authorities, insurance companies, mass media, urban developers or risk researchers, all identify risks, warn of them and provide or question security. This includes the indication that risk is unevenly distributed. The purpose of risk management is to locate and map risks, and to identify secure from insecure areas. The book argues for a change of the normal observation mode. Instead of identifying and spatializing risks per qualitative secondary observation practices of construction, it should be understood how and under what conditions risks are constructed? The volume combines human and physical geographic perspectives in a common appeal on observation theories. With the contributions the author demonstrates the fruitfulness of this approach for interdisciplinary risk research. As a working group book the author explores both the potential and limits of a (radical) constructivist perspective. German text.
