Author Biography

Georgia K. Irvin, a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association and a Certified Educational Planner, is considered one of the premier educational consultants in the country. Founder and president of Georgia K. Irvin and Associates, she served as director of admission and financial aid at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC, for fifteen years. She is a frequent speaker on admissions topics. The Secondary School Admission Test Board (SSAT) honored her with the prestigious William B. Bretnall Award for her "exemplary contribution to the field of independent school admissions." She lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
