He has written about computer technology and the Internet and has been a columnist for many magazines, Web sites and newspapers, including USA Today, PC Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, the Dallas Morning News, Boston Magazine, PC/Computing, CNet/ZDNet, and FamilyPC. He has won several writing and editing awards, including one for the best feature article in a computer magazine from the Computer Press Association.
Walter Glenn has helped thousands of beginning users learn Windows and how it can help them get their job done. He has authored several books on Windows 98, Microsoft Word, and Windows NT/2000. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Internet Specialist, and Certified Trainer. He is also the president of Greyfeather Consulting Services based in Huntsville, Alabama.
