Author Biography

Beth Jones has been helping people get a grip on the basics of their faith since 1979. She is convinced that in order for people to enjoy being healthy, fruitful Christians they need to be established in the basic truths of God's Word which include: a relationship with God, understanding faith and healing, being filled with the Spirit, living the abundant life, exercising the authority of the believer and finding God's plan for service. This conviction, and the belief that there is a great harvest of people yet to be reached and cared for, prompted her to write the Getting a Grip on the Basics workbook, which is being used by individuals and churches in America and overseas. She is a graduate of Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, and Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Together with her husband, Jeff, they founded and pastor Kalamazoo Valley Family Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is the mother of four children, and as time permits, Beth travels and conducts the ôGetting a Grip on the Basicsö seminar for pastors and church leaders.
