Geraldine McCaughrean has won every major prize for children's literature in Great Britain, including the Carnegie Medal, the Whitbread Award, and the Guardian Children's Fiction Award. She lives in Berkshire, England David Parkins has illustrated many books for children, including God's Story by Jan Marks, The Water Horse by Dick King-Smith, Webster J. Duck by Martin Waddell, and Prowlpuss by Gina Wilson. David Parkins has been shortlisted for the Kurt Maschler and Smarties awards and commended by the National Art Library Illustration Award. He lives in Lincoln, England
