Author Biography

Doreen Drewry Lehr, Ph.D., a British World War II evacuee has published articles but this is her first book. She married Wayne R. Lehr, a US Air Force Officer in 1961. She has lived in  England, Germany, many of the US States and has traveled extensively. Ms. Lehr taught at Springfield College, Manchester, New Hampshire, and Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan. A Gold Star Wife, with two children and two grandchildren, she lives in Washington, DC and Key West, Florida.
