Author Biography

DIANE ELLIOT is an author, professional photographer and business administrator. With a heart for people and a passion for ministry, she has been involved in children's church, Christian education, high school student ministries, women's Bible studies and has served locally and internationally with short-term missions and relief projects. Diane's interest in the global orphan crisis started many years ago with a trip to a Siberian children's hospital for terminally ill children and later to an orphanage in Mexico. Seeing a small snapshot of the great need started her journey but it was through the education and encouragement of a good friend that is a social worker in child welfare that really inspired and fueled her passion for the orphaned child. Diane and her husband Dave live in Wauconda, Illinois with their dog Kody and they have over 59 nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces and the number keeps growing.
