Author Biography

Hans-Peter Blossfeld is Professor of Sociology I and Director of the Institute of Longitudinal Studies in Education at Bamberg University, Germany. He is also the Principal Investigator of the National Educational Panel Study. Sandra Buchholz is Assistant Professor at the University of Bamberg, Germany. Dirk Hofcker is Senior Research Fellow at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research, Germany. Kathrin Kolb is Research Scientist at the University of Bamberg, Germany.
