Richard Kearney is Professor of Philosophy at Boston College and University College Dublin. He is the author of numerous books on modern philosophy and culture, including Dialogues with Contemporary Continental Thinkers, TheWake of Imagination, and The Poetics of Modernity, as well as two novels and a volume of poetry. His books have been translated in many European languages. In recent years he has been engaged in the debates on ethics, aesthetics and religion with such key continental philosophers as Ricoeur, Derrida, Kristeva, Levinas, and Caputo.
