Author Biography

Frances Osborne is the author of two biographies and one novel. Her first biography, Lilla’s Feast (2004), has been translated into six languages and is a Kiriyama Prize Notable Book. Her second biography, The Bolter (2008), was shortlisted for Best Read in Britain and was a Sunday Times #1 bestseller and one of the San Francisco Chronicle’s Best Books of the Year. Her first novel, Park Lane, was shortlisted for the Historical Crime Writers’ Association/Goldsboro Books First Novel Award. She has written for a wide variety of leading newspapers, websites, and magazines in the U.S. and the U.K., and has appeared on a number of TV and radio shows on both sides of the Atlantic.
