Author Biography

ELAINE WEXLER-MITCHELL, DVM, is the owner and originator of The Cat Care Clinic in Orange, California. She is a former president of the Academy of Feline Medicine and served on the board of The American Association of Feline Practitioners. Wexler-Mitchell is board certified in feline practice and is a member of various veterinary organizations, including AVMA, AAHA, SCVMA, and the CVMA. She is a contributing editor to Cat Fancy magazine and writes the "Ask the Vet" column.
