Author Biography

Thalia Marakas, the author, was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. Thalia has been writing children's poetry for ten years. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio with a B.S. in Elementary Education, Thalia taught in the Parma, Ohio public school system. Illustrator Ben Griffin is currently a student at Colby College in Maine.
