Author Biography

Lynn Gray Ross lives and works on the Isle of Arran; she is Managing Director of the Arran Knitting Company and teaches weaving workshops around the UK, in the US and in Europe. She studied weaving in Stockholm. Her work is exhibited and collected internationally and she has produced woven art for several high-profile commissions, including a large tapestry for the 1995 United Nations Conference on Women in Beijing. She is involved in a number of small business and education projects with various communities within the UK.
