Author Biography

Professor Rudy Bilous is Professor Emeritus of Clinical Medicine at the University of Newcastle, UK. He is the author of The British Medical Association Family Guide to Diabetes, Diabetes, and Understanding Diabetes and was the Chair of the NICE Guideline Development Group for Diabetes in Pregnancy. 

Professor Richard Donnelly is Emeritus Professor, School of Medicine, University of Nottingham, UK. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of Diabetes Obesity & Metabolism

Dr Iskandar Idris is Associate Professor in Diabetes and Vascular Medicine at the Division of Graduate Entry Medicine and Medical Sciences, School of Medicine, University of Nottingham, UK. He is also Training Programme Director for Specialist Training in Diabetes and Endocrinology for the Health Education England East Midlands. He has published widely in the field of Diabetes and Obesity.
