Author Biography

Alphonsus Obayuwana, MD, PhD, is a physician-scientist and happiness expert who has spent more than three decades researching human hope and happiness. He has been interviewed on major media including TV and radio about his research. As professor emeritus, Alphonsus is now the founder and CEO of the Triple-H Project, LLC—an entity solely dedicated to the promotion of more hopeful and happier human communities. Known as the “happiness guru,” Alphonsus is introducing the concept of a standard happiness index as the yardstick for measuring progress and the effectiveness of policies, including in the United States and other countries. His singular passion is to share with the world The Happiness Formula—the end-product of his 35 years of research. His aim is to make available to as many people as possible the simple mathematical equation he discovered for a happy life.
