Author Biography

Cindy Anderson is a self-proclaimed Happy Hour Expert who realized that the people of Portland needed a convenient and reliable source to help find the best deals in the city. She blended her talents as a graphic designer and artist, stirred in her Happy Hour expertise and desire to bring joy to the world, ate and drank 'til the cows came home, and created this wonderful concoction known as the Happy Hour Guidebook. Originally from Chicago (where they don't have Happy Hours, as most cities don't), she moved to Portland in 2004 and LOVES it! This second edition follows the first from 2007, but is bigger and better! Cindy loves Happy Hours and the pursuit of happiness, traveling, hiking, skiing, party buses, Jimmy Buffett, Elvis, naps, golfing, reading, painting, and all things Tiki. She also enjoys road-tripping, pub crawling and gallery hopping; mojitos, Margaritas and microbrews; imports, good wine, and just about everything that involves meeting up with a friend or two and having fun!
