Author Biography

Marilyn Aguirre-Molina, one of the nation's leading authorities on Latino/a health issues, is a professor of public health at the City University of New York, and director of the university's Institute for Health Equity. Luisa N. Borrell is an associate professor in the department of health sciences, Lehman College, City University of New York. William Vega is provost professor at the University of Southern California, with appointments in Preventive Medicine, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, and the School of Social Work. He is also director of the Royal Institute on Aging, and co-director of the Multicultural Research Network on Health and Health Care at UCLA.
