Author Biography

Hilton M. Hudson II, MD, FACS, FCCP is a cardiothoracic surgeon at University of Chicago Hospital, the president and cofounder of Hilton Publishing Company, Inc., and the chairman of the board of the Health Literacy Foundation. He is the coauthor of High Blood Pressure: The Black Man and Woman''s Guide to Living With Hypertension. He lives in Chicago. Herbert Stern, PhD, is a professor emeritus of English at Wabash College. He is cofounder of Hilton Publishing Company. He lives in Somerville, Massachusetts. Karole E. Watson, MD, is the codirector of the Program in Preventive Cardiology and the director of the Center for Lipid and Hypertension Management at the University of California�6Los Angeles. She lives in Los Angeles. Richard Allen Williams, MD, is the founder of the Association of Black Cardiologists, Inc., and the author of The Textbook of Black-Related Diseases. He lives in Encino, California.
