How do I return a digital or eBook item that I ordered through you?
Standard Return Policy
To be considered for a refund, your digital purchase must meet all of the following
criteria:
- You purchased your eTextbook/Courseware within the last 2 weeks.
- You have not viewed or printed more than 20% of your eTextbook.
- You have not revealed or used any access codes for any online resources/courseware.
- You are not returning an eTextbook from one of the publishers in our Return Policy Exceptions.
Abuse of Return Policy: eCampus reserves the right to refuse to sell or to provide refunds to any person for any reason not prohibited by law, including, but not limited to, abuse of its return policy.
Return Policy Exceptions
Titles purchased from the following publishers will follow the return policies outlined below.
Cengage & Cengage Unlimited Policy:
- You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase of access code/courseware.
Oxford University Press Return Policy:
- You have not viewed or printed more than five percent (5%) total of the eTextbook.
- You may request a refund for eTextbook purchase within 14 days of your initial purchase.
Pearson Courseware & Pearson+ Return Policy:
- You may cancel your Pearson+ subscription or request a refund of access code/courseware within 14 days of your initial purchase.
Requesting a Refund
- You may check to see if your item is available for a return by visiting your My Orders section of your eCampus.com Account.
- Click "Check Return Eligibility" next to the item you want to return. If this button does not show, your item is likely not eligible for a return; you may reach out to our Customer Service Team to verify.
- Select the Quantity and the Reason for Return.
- Click Complete Return. Returns for digital products are processed immediately; you will receive a refund of the item cost, less the non-refundable Digital Access Fee, within 2-3 business days to your payment method.
