Author Biography

Sonia Shainwald Orbuch heroism has been featured in a short documentary produced by the Jewish Partisan Education Fund. She lives in northern California. Fred Rosenbaum, founder of Lehrhaus Judaica in Berkeley, California, is the New York based coauthor (with Joseph Pell) of Taking Risks, winner of the Book of the Year bronze award in history.
