Excerpts

The arrogance of man will be brought low and the pride of men humbled; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day, and the idols will totally disappear.(Isaiah 2:17) It is the Lord, and the Lord alone who will be exalted during the day of the Lord. The seventieth week of Daniel is presumed to part of the day of the Lord by the pre-tribulation rapture position. In Isaiah 2:11, 17, 18 it is stated in that day, the Lord alone will be exalted. The "day," Isaiah is referring to is the day of the Lord. During the seventieth week of Daniel, the Antichrist will be exalted and worshipped on the earth. So if the Antichrist is exalted during the seventieth week of Daniel, the seventieth week of Daniel cannot be part of the day of the Lord. During the day of the Lord, the Lord alone will be exalted. The last half of Daniel's seventieth week is the reign of the Antichrist. Satan has three and a half years to bring hell on Earth before his one thousand year sentence commences. Satan's anger is turned towards the believers in Christ. Satan gives his authority to the beast or otherwise known as the Antichrist or the man of lawlessness. (Rev 13:4) The Antichrist exercises his authority for forty-two months. (Rev 13:5) The Antichrist blasphemes God, slanders his name, his dwelling place, and those who live in heaven. (Rev 13:6) The Antichrist will try to change the set times and laws. (Daniel 7:25) The Antichrist will oppress the saints, and the saints will be handed to Antichrist for three and a half years. Antichrist will make war against the saints. (Rev 13:7 & Daniel 7:25-26) The Antichrist will be given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation. (Rev 13:7) The Antichrist will be worshipped by everyone except those whose names are written in the book of life. (Rev 13:8) The Antichrist will commit the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, and Mark 13:14) The Antichrist will proclaim himself to be called God. (2 Thess 2:4) Those who refuse to worship the image of the beast shall be killed. (Rev 3:15) The Antichrist will also force everyone to receive a mark on his right hand or forehead. No one will be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast. (Rev 13:16-17) The beast (Antichrist) rules during the last half of Daniel's seventieth week. The Antichrist proclaims himself to be God. He calls the world to worship him. They show obedience to the Antichrist by receiving the mark. The saints will refuse. The saints will be handed to the Antichrist. He will make war against the saints and try to kill them. But according to the prophet Isaiah, the Lord alone will be exalted in that day. Therefore, the seventieth week of Daniel cannot be part of the day of the Lord because the Antichrist is exalted during the seventieth week of Daniel.
